Here at the Smoking Elk BBQ School, we’re excited to announce we have a special guest joining us for a unique Southern-Style Masterclass.
If you’re not familiar with the work of Pit Master, Samantha Evans of Hang Fire BBQ, she, and her partner are credited for bringing BBQ to the mainstream over 10 years ago through pop-ups, kitchen takeovers, festivals and their legendary restaurant Hang Fire Southern Kitchen. Together with partner, Shauna Guinn, they’ve won the most awards of any BBQ restaurant in the country, have their own BBC One TV show that focuses on community and outdoor cooking (Sam & Shauna’s Big Cookout), and are two of the most sought-after fire cooks in the country. Their Internationally best-selling cookbook ‘Hang Fire, Recipes and adventures in American BBQ’ was the first BBQ to be written by two women and is loved by thousands for the recipes and the stories of their American adventures.
